Last year’s challenge showed just how powerful it can be to intentionally seek out and celebrate diverse stories. This year, the Lift All Voices Challenge continues, spotlighting authors and perspectives that deserve more space on our shelves and in our lives. Together, we can keep building a deeper connection to each other through the stories we choose to read.
Here’s how it works:
Read one book for each of the 12 prompts.
Submit your completed prompts for exclusive stickers
Finish all 12 prompts by January 31, 2026 and get a Lift All Voices tote bag.
*All reading is valid! All formats, audiobooks, graphic novels, YA, middle-grade, and kids' books all count*

Why Read Diversely?
Reading diversely matters because stories shape how we see the world and each other. When we intentionally seek out voices that have been overlooked or marginalized, we’re not just discovering new perspectives—we’re breaking down barriers, building empathy, and creating space for connection. It’s about more than just books; it’s about acknowledging the beauty, struggle, and humanity in experiences beyond our own. At the same time, exploring diverse stories can bring so much joy to your reading life—introducing fresh ideas, unexpected adventures, and characters that stay with you long after the last page. By lifting these voices, we help create a more inclusive narrative—one that reflects the full spectrum of who we are and makes reading even more meaningful.
Celebrate Your Progress
As you knock out each prompt, you’ll collect exclusive stickers that highlight the incredible voices and stories you’ve discovered. Each one will reflect the unique diversity of what you’ve read.
Finish all 12 prompts, and you’ll earn a special Lift All Voices tote bag to say thanks for diving into this challenge and lifting up diverse voices. You’ll get your tote bag once you’ve completed everything by January 31, 2026.
