Food is more than just a meal—it’s a story, a legacy, and a bridge to understanding. Join us for Taste of Community, a hands-on family workshop led by Pooja Thakkar, author of the upcoming anthology Taste of Community, where we’ll explore the power of food in bringing people together.
What to Expect:
Family Recipe Sharing & Storytelling – Share the stories and traditions behind your favorite dishes.
Culinary Games & Activities – Enjoy interactive word games like ‘Fill in the Blanks: Family Recipes’ or ‘Mad Gab: Food Edition.’
Taste & Learn Sessions – Discover unique cultural ingredients, cooking techniques, and food traditions.
Know Your Neighbor Challenge – A fun way to connect with others through food and shared experiences.
This event also coincides with Holi, the Indian Festival of Colors, so we’ll be celebrating with festive snacks and drinks!
